I'd really love to see a light mode toggle for Heliosphere if possible!
I have really bad astigmatism and while I do have glasses that sort of help with this issue it's still hard to read light colored text on dark backgrounds. The "effect" someone like me sees when trying to navigate sites on dark mode is called "halation", it causes eye strain and headaches when trying to read. I've heard people with dyslexia can also have issues with reading white text on dark backgrounds as well. The yellow color used on the site would be totally fine and readable on a white or nearly-white background so I do not think the yellow text or the logo would need to be changed for a light theme.
I do not know how hard it is to make something like this happen, and I also know light mode isn't too popular among internet denizens these days, but it would mean a lot to people like me! Thank you for all your hard work on the site so far!!
