Website can't log in to my account

I've been trying to log in to my account (supposedly same username I used here) but every password I could think of says it's incorrect and every recover password e-mail I tried to send does not ever reach my mailboxes. Not in spam, not in junk, just not there altogether.

that would explain things. I don't remember what the heck I did for the actual username then, might be just the display name. can I give you the e-mail to try to recover access to the account?

You never verified your email, so it won't send to it. I've manually verified it for you so the emails will go though.
