Plugin Clarification on why network paths are rejected...

Hello,
I just tried to download a mod using the plugin it refused because I have my mod folder path setup through my OneDrive so I can keep my mods in sync between two computers. Poked around at the github repo to see the rejection of network drives and OneDrive is by design and I was hoping for some clarification as to why and what you'd suggest instead of my OneDrive solution if that's not reasonable to do.

I would install the mods on both computers separately. OneDrive and other file syncing methods cause all sorts of headaches from conflicts breaking mods to access denied errors and other vague errors.

Got it, I can see where that would be a hassle to support. Would you be open to some sort of "opt in, accept the risk" setting to enable OneDrive? I'm happy to sort out any issues I come across on my own, but I also understand not everyone will understand that even with an opt in.

I can look at adding a hidden setting that allows networked paths. I'd need to make it obvious that support will not be offered and disable error reporting and similar types of things. I'll put it on the todo list.

This is now available in 4.5.0. You first have to click the version number at the bottom of the Settings tab seven times to get the "Unsupported options" section to show up.
