uploading a modpack which makes any change to the MCH offhand flags the mod as 'affecting' every MCH mainhand weapon in the game. I imagine the behavior is similar for the AST offhand and other models that are shared between multiple gear pieces. it'd be nice if we could exempt files from shared models like these to keep the changelist clean, or to otherwise alias it as a single association to 'MCH offhand' rather than every mainhand.

I'm not sure how much of this dropdown is controlled by HS' frontend and how much is just pulled out of penumbra; on the modpack itself, the 'changed items' tab (which usually corresponds to HS' affecting list) only notes the animation and vfx changes that are also included.

Yes, Otter's system in Penumbra has changed a lot since I borrowed and modified it. I believe it has access to data in-game that HS doesn't. Heliosphere's system has needed an overhaul for a long time, but it's very complicated and difficult, so I haven't ever managed it. I'll have to look at the new Penumbra options regarding that tab and see about updating the affects calculator.

If neither of those satisfactorily solve the issue, then I'll look at letting it be slightly configurable.
