Website Vani ID was not restored on website

The Vani ID was not restored on the website, I reactivated the subscription again, when I want to assign it again it says it has already been assigned.
It worked immediately on the BlueSky Acc, so please re-fix it manually as before on Sophie.

When you unsubscribed, your @sophie.heliosphe.re was unassociated from your account. It's actually strange that bsky doesn't show your handle as "Invalid handle".

Now, someone has created a new account with the username sophie, meaning you can't use that as a vanity URL anymore. As such, I will not manually restore your vanity URL as that would conflict with the sophie account. You can, however, choose a different vanity URL.

That's not entirely correct. There's currently no user using the Vani-ID, but the system says it's in use.

I suspect that bsky prevented my Vani-ID from being deleted from the system when I deactivated my subscription, but it's also removed from the website itself. Therefore, this is a very big error.

Try accessing the profiles yourself at https://heliosphere.app/user/sophie

or check the database; it should still be linked to my account there.

This is very condescending of you to post. I did check the database, and I know how the system works more than you do; I made the system. Just because that vanity url isn't claimed doesn't mean that the username isn't. You cannot use a vanity url of someone else's username or vanity url. There is no error here. Someone registered the username "sophie" after your subscription lapsed, which means it is not available as a vanity url.

As for bsky, we no longer associate your atproto did with that handle, and we stopped associating it when you unsubscribed. You can actually see this here. You lost that vanity url when you unsubscribed, and now it is no longer available. This is not a bug or an error. That is the risk you run when using a vanity url and then unsubscribing.
